• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Legal, Governance, Ethics & Compliance functions.
• Manage and oversee the legal team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective collaboration.
• Offer legal advice and guidance to senior management on a wide range of matters.
• Handle complex legal issues, including arbitration and contract disputes.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies and policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Liaise with external counsel, as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments relevant to the utilities sector.

• Qualified with a minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience from a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience working in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven expertise in providing advice on arbitration and contract disputes.
• Previous experience in a leadership position, managing a legal team.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English is essential.
