As a Welder, you’ll play a vital role in assembling and repairing critical components that keep the world moving.

Please note: This role is for pipeline purposes, preparing for future openings.

Your Role

As a Welder, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology to create and repair metal components that are essential to our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and Repair: Use heavy machinery to weld and repair metal components, ensuring precision and durability.
  • Read and Interpret: Review drawings and measurements to plan layouts and welding procedures.
  • Prepare Materials: Operate tools like angle grinders and powered saws to prepare parts for welding.
  • Align and Clamp: Use calipers, rulers, and clamps to align components accurately.
  • Weld with Precision: Perform manual or semi-automatic welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
  • Inspect and Test: Examine welded surfaces and structures to identify and fix flaws.
  • Maintain Safety: Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Document Work: Complete QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and other documentation accurately.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ year of welding experience, with expertise in TIG welding and pipe welding.
  • Certifications: Professional welding certification and cord qualification.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of welding types, defects, and safety standards.
    • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Mindset: A safety-first approach and a willingness to wear protective gear (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
