About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Service Advisor who’s ready to be the friendly voice of DHL. You’ll be the go-to person for our customers, handling their inquiries, bookings, and concerns with professionalism and care. But it’s not just about answering calls – you’ll also play a key role in helping us achieve our goals by promoting our services and turning customer interactions into opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate and friendly support for their shipping needs.
- Help customers choose the best DHL services for their unique requirements and guide them through the booking process.
- Spot opportunities to upsell additional services like insurance, time-definite delivery, or packaging – and confidently close the deal.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, finding solutions that leave them satisfied while protecting DHL’s interests.
- Use your problem-solving skills to lodge traces and ensure customers receive timely updates on their shipments.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional service and meet revenue targets.
Who You Are
- A confident communicator with excellent English skills (both spoken and written). Bonus points if you speak Arabic!
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can keep cool under pressure.
- A team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
- Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Flexible with your schedule and ready to work rostered hours, including breaks.
- Previous call center experience is a plus, but not a must.
- At least a grade 10 education (high school certificate preferred).
