As an Aviation Security Officer, you will conduct periodic checks and spot inspections to ensure the security screening of arriving and departing aircraft. Collaborating with the Aircraft Loading Supervisor, you will verify baggage figures and ensure compliance with our company’s security program. Your role will also involve checking engineering sections and all terminals inside the airport. To maintain a high level of security, you will prepare a comprehensive Daily Shift Report covering various sections, terminals, and buildings within the airport, taking necessary action steps to address any security concerns.
Responsibilities: Jobs in Oman Air Muscat
• Conduct spot checks on aircraft security screening for arriving and departing flights.
• Coordinate with the Aircraft Loading Supervisor to verify baggage figures under the aircraft, ensuring alignment with the system and counter, in adherence to company security protocols.
• Perform inspections of engineering sections and all terminals within the airport.
• Prepare a Daily Shift Report at the end of each shift, documenting security issues and taking appropriate action as instructed by the Security Supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Fresh two-year college diploma holder in a related discipline OR fresh secondary school certificate.
• Relevant experience, preferably in aviation security, will be advantageous and preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of English.
