As a Lifeguard/Pool Attendant at The Ritz-Carlton, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at the swimming facility. Your primary responsibilities will include observing swimmers for any signs of distress, maintaining a clean and hazard-free pool deck, and promoting a positive and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities: Marriott International Indeed Jobs Bahrain

 

• Utilize appropriate rescue techniques to assist swimmers in need of help.
• Monitor the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, and struggling swimmers.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
• Identify situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in activities and inform the supervisor/manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Maintain a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Follow company procedures for obtaining, folding, and stacking towels.
• Ensure cleanliness of the pool deck through regular washing, mopping, and cleaning.

 

Qualifications: Marriott International Indeed Jobs Bahrain

 

• Previous lifeguarding experience and certification preferred.
• Knowledge of rescue techniques and pool safety protocols.
• Ability to identify and respond to potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a positive guest experience.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, sit, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
