Working Hours: Saturday to Wednesday (8:00am to 5:00pm), Thursday (8:00am to 1:00pm)

As a Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for assigning orders to drivers, coordinating work assignments, and maintaining constant communication with drivers, shoppers, and managers. You will monitor the status of field units, determine the method of shipment, and ensure that the department complies with the company’s regulations. In addition, you will maintain accurate files and reports, review and audit freight bills for billing accuracy, and track inbound deliveries and import & export orders. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Coordinator Jobs in Kuwait
- Assign ready orders to drivers based on distance and timings, considering any other factor that could delay the task using the computer and/or mobile phone.
- Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
- Coordinate work assignments and daily schedules with drivers and other department personnel.
- Maintain a fluid and constant communication with drivers, shoppers, and managers in order to find solutions to any situation/problem with deliveries.
- Inform clients about their delivery status, mainly if an order will have a delay or delivered before requested time.
- Organize, record and maintain all necessary files/documents required to track the company activities.
- Do cash reconciliation with drivers at the end of the shift passing the information to the account department and handling the cash as per accountant instructions.
- Collect, process and communicate relevant data in a timely manner, prioritizing where necessary.
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Communicate shipping volumes and prioritize closely with the Warehouse manager and 3rd party Warehouses to optimize available resources.
- Create and maintain accurate files and reports.
- Prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for shipments.
- Review and audit freight bills for billing accuracy.
- Maintain Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information.
- Review and make recommendations for change in all processes regarding the specific department to improve contribution to the Business.
- Maintain knowledge of current international import/export regulatory requirements.
- Lead communications within the Shipping area.
- Ensure department complies with the company, local market.
- Tracking inbound deliveries and import & export orders.
- Great communication to all departments regarding the orders how long it will take to arrive to avoid any redundancy or confusion.
Requirements:
- Open for all nationals.
- Prior experience working in logistics.
- Excellent English communication skills (reading & writing).
- Knowledgeable in port operations.
