Position: Security Officer Security Guard Job

 

Job Overview: We are seeking a Security Officer to maintain the security and safety of people and property by patrolling designated areas and enforcing security guidelines at the property. Major Responsibilities: Security Guard Job

 

1. Patrol assigned areas to check for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons, and safety/fire hazards.
2. Investigate and report any hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to the management for correction or follow-up actions.
3. Respond to alarms and dispatched calls, decide what actions to take based on the situation, facts known, and position limitation.
4. Decide when an incident requires a written report, decide which report form to use, and submit it to the supervisor.
5. Maintain security-related documentation and records as per the laid down procedure.
6. Provide training to security staff.
7. Activate and deactivate CCTV cameras.
8. Control access ID.
9. Conduct mock drills.
10. Monitor electronic security systems.

 

Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in security services. The candidate must have a valid security license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. The candidate should also be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
