POSITION OVERVIEW As a Wealth Management Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of applications and projects within the Wealth Management sector. This involves working closely with IT development and production teams, as well as other business areas, to maintain a risk-based approach to security. RESPONSIBILITIES The Wealth Management Security Officer will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including: Security Officer Security Guard Jobs in Kuwait

 

  1. IT Security Architecture

  • Plan, research, and design security architectures based on a thorough understanding of the organization’s technology and IT systems.
  • Review and approve security requirements for applications and IT setups.
  • Ensure compliance with security architecture standards, including third-party and cloud security risks.
  • Ensure the protection of WM business data and assets based on review processes.
  • Identify IT security risks in advance, record and follow them up.
  • Ensure regular reporting to management.

  1. IT Security Compliance (Delegation on WM APAC Scope)

  • Ensure alignment with Group and WM GAIM security policies for both project and production assets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies’ requirements, including HKMA, MAS, GDPR, and FINMA.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security requirements, leveraging a deep knowledge of security standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO2700x.
  • Ensure compliance with third-party technology risks and cloud security.

  1. IT Data Management and Data Analytics/Science Technologies

  • Keep up with knowledge of data security and protection regulatory landscape and related measures.
  • Understand data analytics and data sciences technologies, including data standard practices, products, and cloud-related solutions.
  • Ensure solutions for data management, data analytics, and data science align with Group security architecture requirements, including Tableau, PowerBI, AI, and other data analytics solutions.
  • Identify IT security risks in advance, record and follow them up.
  • Ensure regular reporting to management.

  1. Coordination with IT Security Actors

  • Align on objectives and means and contribute to different global reporting (WM Cybersecurity Committee, WM Project Architecture and Security validation committees, Application Security Dashboard, etc.).
  • Coordinate with global security teams regarding integration of WM assets within production sites.
  • Keep abreast of initiatives by the IT Security community within the Group and other IT Security stakeholders within the Group.

  1. Participate

    in the Evolution of Security Posture

  • Participate in the deployment of new security practices and DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Ensure SSDLC practices are well followed.
  • Take part in awareness and training activities.

QUALIFICATIONS for Security Officer Security Guard Jobs in Kuwait

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO2700x.
  • Experience with data management, data analytics, and data science technologies.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies’ requirements, including HKMA, MAS, GDPR, and FINMA.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to foster close working relationships with other business areas and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
