Job Description: Accountant
Position: Accountant Location: Ibri, Oman
We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Ibri, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This position offers a competitive salary of 800 OMR per month and is based on a contract arrangement.

- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and managing budgets.
- Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, such as recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining general ledgers.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the financial data.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, laws, and regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, as well as the preparation of financial forecasts. Provide guidance to management on financial planning and decision-making.
- Payroll Management: Handle payroll processes, including calculating employee salaries, ensuring accurate deductions, and processing payments on time.
- Audit Preparation: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure all required documentation and records are readily available.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the finance department, including managing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.
Requirements: Accountant Jobs in Oman
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Proficient in basic English communication.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
