To succeed in this role, it is important to prioritize safety in the workplace, adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, uphold quality standards, and present oneself in a professional manner in terms of appearance and communication. Runners will be actively moving throughout the hotel, which includes standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, navigating narrow or elevated spaces, and using stairs or service ramps. They should possess the ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. A hands-on approach to work is also necessary, involving the movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placement of objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance. Additionally, the role may require reaching overhead, below the knees, and performing bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping actions. Performing these tasks effectively, along with fulfilling other reasonable job duties as assigned, is crucial for Runners to consistently deliver exceptional service to our guests and contribute to the success of our business.
