Position Summary:

 

 

As a National Cash Office Executive at IKEA Oman, your role is to handle financial reconciliation, reporting, and audits for store operations in accordance with the IKEA/AL Futtaim directives and internal Standard Operating Procedures. Al Futtaim Group Oman Jobs

 

 

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of store takings, monitoring exchange rates for forex transactions, managing cheques collection and control, tallying safe funds, reconciling credit card transactions, handling gift vouchers redemption, banking various tender types, managing store petty cash, and following daily/weekly/monthly procedures and reporting.

  1. Financial Reconciliation and Reporting:
  • Perform daily reconciliation of store takings and generate reports.
  • Reconcile forex transactions and monitor exchange rates.
  • Collect and control cheques.
  • Tally safe funds on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions.
  • Manage gift vouchers redemption and reconciliation.
  • Bank various tender types and ensure accurate recording.

    Store Petty Cash Management:Al Futtaim Group Oman Jobs

  • Oversee the management of store petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and record-keeping.
  1. Compliance and Standard Operating Procedures:
  • Follow the daily, weekly, and monthly procedures as per IKEA/AL Futtaim directives and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide timely reporting and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  1. Investigation and Reporting:
  • Investigate Till Discrepancy cases and report them to the Cash Office Group Leader and relevant departments for further action.
  • Report any irregularities or issues related to cash handling.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers regarding petty cash, quotes, LPOs (Local Purchase Orders), and payments.
  1. Language and Computer Skills:
  • Possess a very good command of the English language.
  • Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
  • Demonstrate advanced computer literacy, particularly in MS Office Excel and data management tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have 2-3 years of experience in retail cash handling.
  • Possess a good knowledge of accounting and cash handling processes.
