This is an entry-level position that offers excellent career progression opportunities. We are seeking candidates who are recent graduates with at least one year of experience as a Relationship Manager.
Impact and Responsibilities:
As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of rated clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Relationship Management:
– Develop strong two-way relationships with clients to achieve revenue targets and meet strategic account objectives.
– Devise account plans to expand client revenue streams and broaden the range of products offered to clients.
– Manage complex negotiations of commercial contracts.
2. Business Development:
– Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, leveraging market knowledge and intelligence obtained from clients.
– Collaborate with Ratings Product Development and other segments of S&P Global to maximize opportunities and develop new products.
– Assess market developments to determine opportunities for product evolution and enhancement to grow the S&P Ratings business.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
– Operate within the regulatory and compliance frameworks laid down by the organization.
– Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
4. Client Care and Inquiries:
– Provide post-sales customer care and address inquiries effectively.
5. Relationship with Ministries and Government Bodies:
– Manage the relationship with relevant ministries and government bodies.
– Prepare and submit necessary documents and reports to these ministries in a timely manner.
6. Office Management:
– Manage the KSA office from an operational perspective.
– Liaise with the regional office manager in Dubai.
– Organize and manage events, workshops, and seminars.
– Coordinate travel, visas, and accommodation for staff.
7. Commercial Activities:
– Allocate 30% of your time to operational activities and 70% to commercial and client-related activities.

Skills & Qualifications: Business Development Riyadh Saudi Arabia
– Saudi Nationals only.
– Reasonable understanding of (debt) capital markets and corporate finance.
– Outgoing personality with the ability to connect with customers, develop strong relationships, and implement solution strategies.
– Insight selling skills to identify opportunities, prioritize them, and see them through to a solution.
– Understanding of the business needs of large corporates, financial institutions, governments, and other market stakeholders.
– Ability to identify and analyze market trends to develop well-thought-out opinions.
– Fair knowledge of sustainability/ESG in finance would be beneficial.
– Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Commercial acumen and ability to drive product development.
– Strong emotional intelligence and a team player attitude.
– Fluent in English, both oral and written.
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related fields (experience in financial services and/or relationship management is a plus).
