In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering services, providing technical support, and supervising the electrical engineering team. Responsibilities: Electrical Engineer Jobs in Qatar
– Deliver electrical engineering services in accordance with Worley’s, customers’, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
– Initiate, manage, and potentially supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
– Perform a wide range of electrical engineering tasks, including participating in meetings, preparing progress reports, following checking procedures, and ensuring clarity of project scope.
– Adhere to project change management processes and ensure compliance when implementing changes.
– Offer guidance and expertise during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, which may include writing requisitions, conducting technical bid evaluations, and generating purchase orders.
– Act as the electrical engineering Lead for specific projects, if required.
– If responsible for a team, outline project requirements, promote workshare initiatives, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of required services.
– Proactively address any discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements.
– Stay updated with the latest developments and innovations in the field of electrical engineering.
– Provide support and mentorship to junior personnel within the electrical engineering team, as needed.
– Maintain effective communication with the electrical engineering team, project stakeholders, and customers.
– Identify and resolve issues, develop appropriate solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
Qualifications: Electrical Engineer Jobs in Qatar
– A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
– Proven experience delivering electrical engineering services, preferably in a project-based environment.
– Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
– Proficiency in utilizing engineering software and tools.
