About the Role: Amazon Careers Dubai
As an Operations and Logistics Intern, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the heart of our Operations. You will be part of the journey of one of our many customers’ orders and play a pivotal role in improving the functionality and level of service provided by our Fulfillment Centers, Sortation Centers, and Delivery Stations.
Key Responsibilities: Amazon Careers Dubai
- Data Diving and Mapping: Utilize your analytical skills to dive deep into data, mapping processes, and identifying areas for improvement. You will have the opportunity to understand the intricacies of our operations and contribute to optimizing efficiency.
- Solution Testing and Implementation: Offer and test potential solutions to address the challenges faced by our operations network. Collaborate with highly efficient managers, technology development teams, and front-line Associates to implement the best solutions and drive positive change.
- Business and Operational Challenges: Think broadly and proactively to solve complex business and operational challenges. Engage with various teams to develop innovative strategies and contribute to the success of one of the world’s fastest-growing operations networks.
Basic Qualifications:
To excel in this internship, we are looking for individuals who meet the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a 2+ year university degree or have graduated within the last 6 months in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Legal right to work in the country where the internship is located.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and shifts to adapt to the dynamic nature of our operations.
- Results-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and a passion for simplifying processes and practices.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to communicate effectively using logical reasoning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, such as holding leadership positions in university clubs or taking the lead in group projects.
- Curiosity, proactivity, and a desire to learn and develop autonomously during the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, meet tight deadlines, and effectively prioritize workload in the face of conflicting priorities.
- Previous work experience, such as a summer job or internship, preferably in a related field or business.
