Overview of the role: Jobs at Al Futtaim Automotive Oman

 

The primary focus of the role is to monitor and achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, and net profit by implementing standard operating procedures and effective usage of resources.

 

Responsibilities: Jobs at Al Futtaim Automotive Oman

 

  • Maintain and update workshop equipment to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Initiate procurement of additional equipment in line with business growth and ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved by implementing best business practices.
  • Maximize revenue potential from Service operations to meet Net Sales, Gross margin, and net profit objectives.
  • Provide positive customer experience and achieve customer satisfaction targets through efficient service processes.
  • Monitor and coordinate individual staff career development plans through training and maintain high motivation levels.
  • Achieve the company objective on Omanisation, coaching, training, and provide a career path.
  • Implement the Principal’s Dealer standards on Systems and processes for achieving compliance and adopting best business practices.
  • Plan and deliver optimal utilization of manpower resources to meet or exceed Service performance KPI benchmarks on productivity, efficiency, turnaround time, revenue per order through process and people development.
  • Effectively monitor and follow up on credit outstanding, maintain cordial relationships with Creditors to achieve no overdue more than 60 days, and review credit limits in line with the business.
  • Adhere to product concern handling and escalation process to achieve timely resolution and customer satisfaction, and ensure staff are technically updated with the developments.
  • Ensure QHSE management system requirements and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are implemented in the area of responsibility.
  • Enhance customer/associate engagement and ensure customer complaints are resolved through necessary actions.

  2. Supervisory experience.
  3. Workshop automotive dealership experience.
  4. Analytical skills.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 to 8 years overall experience with the automotive dealership – out of which a minimum 3 years in Service Department at a managerial role.
  • Valid Oman driver’s license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP skills.
  • Proficient in English.
