- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Legal, Governance, Ethics & Compliance functions.
- Manage and oversee the legal team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective collaboration.
- Offer legal advice and guidance to senior management on a wide range of matters.
- Handle complex legal issues, including arbitration and contract disputes.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies and policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Liaise with external counsel, as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments relevant to the utilities sector.
Key Requirements: indeed Jobs in Ajman UAE
- Qualified with a minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience from a Common Law jurisdiction.
- Extensive experience working in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven expertise in providing advice on arbitration and contract disputes.
- Previous experience in a leadership position, managing a legal team.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential.
